I don't know why but for some reason on Fathers Day I draw a blank. It never fails. I don't feel like there is a one fits all type Dads gift. For moms flowers and a card seem to go with any Mothers Day. But Dads? I haven't heard of a one fits gift yet. I did round up a couple things that would appeal to a genre of guys so hopefully you find something that inspires you for the Dads in your life!
The Blue swing dress is perfect for a leisurely warm day
Love the colors of these nikes!
These metallic platforms are so fun and would make a big statment!
These nude heels are so classy are perfect for a dress, skirt or shorts!

These white jeans are slim yet slouchy and great for a more casual vibe.
Joes Jeans are my favorite brand because of the fit and these ones look amazing!
Love the off the shoulder trend and this blouse is a perfect color.

I always am losing my sunglasses and these ones are so on trend and under $10.
Love this linen/cotten blend shirt. Perfect for cooler Summer evenings.
Sales are my jam. Getting something for way less than what another person paid just makes me smile. I don't have an unlimited budget by any means, so buying brands like Free People, Joes Jeans,
So I jumped on the bandwagon. I remember the first time off the shoulder tops were trendy (I just showed my age). I've seen the dramatic off the shoulder trend where the arm hole is hanging down to the elbows and while it's cute, It's not super practical for me to wear everyday. So when I found this slight off the shoulder top I grabbed it up quickly because it's not too dramatic to wear and has some of the same qualities of this trend!
Top thrifted similar here here here (just don't push the shoulders down all the way!)
Bag (under $36!)
Are you trying this trend or just watching from afar? I think I'll definitely try it again with a lower sleeve (I'll save it for date night) because it'll be great for a hot Summer date with the hubs and be something different than a tank!
On another note I'm so looking forward to this long weekend! My sister in law will be in town and the hubs has FIVE (!!!!) days off! I don't know what I'm going to do with all the help!
Hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial weekend! Thanks for reading!

My bathroom has been in dire need of decor. I've been living in our house for about 9 months and I had nothing on the walls. My bathrooms are usually the last to get decorated for whatever reason so I decided to just go for it and see what I can come with.
I randomly found two white wire baskets at a second hand store that I instantly was drawn to. I also found a few mason jars (4 to be exact) for .75 each. Total cost was $7. And I'm really happy with what I envisioned....because it worked!
Your level will be your best friend in this project! I held up my basket to the wall and used a pencil to mark where the screws should go. However, using a level will ENSURE you get an even hanging basket!
Since this wall is over my bathtub I decided to put my bath salts and fizzies in the jars.
Bath Bomb here here (I crumble mine up because I don't get to take long baths. This way I use a little every time)
I'm so happy with my little bath corner. What I like most is that when I get bored with the colors I can easily switch up the colors! Changing out the flowers and bath bomb could change the "feel" of the bathroom! You could also take out the jars and use it as a loofa and washcloth holder, or just add some small colorful soaps to the jars as well. The possibilities are endless!
Hope this gives you some inspiration for your home!
Sophia had her Magical Unicorn Rainbow Party this weekend, which officially ends the May Madness! I did a ton of DIY for her birthday, including her cake, which is probably my finest hour. We had a decorate your own cloud station (huge marshmallows dipped in white chocolate and decorated with whatever sprinkles you like) a make your own Unicorn horn station, Pin the Horn on the Unicorn and Cloud Musical Chairs. The kids loved it, Sophia smiled the whole time and all the hours spent making and planning her party was worth it.
My sweet glittery, Superhero loving, Unicorn believing, Sassy, Independent, Caring, Sparkly little girl is 5. I am so happy to see her growing up surrounded by friends and family that love her so deeply!
Free People is having a Summer Sale Weekend and you HAVE to check it out! Seriously. Free People sales don't happen too often so when it comes around you have to jump at it!
Here's some of my picks!
This Suede Jumper would be perfect for Summer with a white tank and a pair of sandals.
These gladiators are super sexy and make a HUGE statement.
Paired with a skirt, shorts or a sexy dress these black wedges are so versatile.
This swimsuit would be so slimming.
I'm all about the slouchy fit of these jean shorts.
This racerback tank has great back detail!
Love this fun take on the denim button down skirt
What are your favorite finds on this sale? I can't wait for the Sun to shine and bring out the skirts and sandals!
I love a polished look, but I also like a little bit edgy or "Rock n Roll" type vibe mixed in. I found a great black and white striped blazer that had extra shoulder "oomph" we'll call it (really it's shoulder pads) and I loved it. Because it's so structured and polished I wanted to add a few little unexpected items. Such as a band or Rock n Roll t shirt, dark skinnies and purple suede heeled mules. Add in a skate park and i was ready to roll....ba dum shhhhhh.
I love this outfit and how i feel put together but also like a rebel! And did you notice my little sliding down the skateboard ramp? She thought we were at a really cool slide park! Haha!
How about you? Do you add a little Rock n Roll to your style ever?
Thanks for reading and have a great fabulous weekend!
